Jewellery Care

For the cleaning of metals we will use some simple and traditional ways:

Soap

Dissolve mild soap in lukewarm water using a soft brush clean the jewelry and then dry with a soft cloth.

Toothpaste

The good old recipe of toothpaste is also an effective way. We clean our jewelry with a small amount of toothpaste on a soft brush in lukewarm water and then dry by wiping with a soft cloth.

Ammonia household

In a bowl add ammonia and cold water (a half-half ratio) place the jewelry in for 30 minutes. Then we take out and but small soft brush brush. Put a second time the jewelry in the solution after the rinse leave to drain on a paper towel.

Soda

Sprinkle the jewelry with a little baking powder and rub well. Leave for 2-3 minutes and polish with a soft cloth. The specific purification is indicated mainly in silver.

Camphor

A very old way grandma to slow the oxidation of silver, is to put camphor into the drawer, closet, or wherever we store silver items.
